The Degrees of Freedom (DF) Upgrade Kit is an anti-pedal kickback system that lives in your DT Swiss DEG hub, quietly decoupling your chain from every movement of the rear shock. It is a lightweight, low maintenance and easily adjustable system that gives DT Swiss DEG hub riders chain-less performance with no compromise. Choose between 0°, 10° and 20° of rotation depending on personal preference, with no more maintenance required than a classic DEG Ratchet system. Compatible with all Ratchet DEG hubs (350/240) introduced in 2024 — previous generation Ratchet EXP or pawl-style DT Swiss hubs are not compatible with the DF system.
